The current economic environment is creating an increasing need for nonperishable food for local residents who are just trying to get by. Rising costs and job losses are really taking a toll on families. We Care helps bridge these gaps by keeping people in their homes. Their food pantry allows their clients to extend their limited resources.
To help meet the need, the RHA is partnering with We Care to collect nonperishable food items, especially canned proteins at our quarterly shredding events.
Please stop by our next Get Shredded event at Lee School and drop off a few nonperishable food items (pasta, boxed meals, canned goods, dried fruits, beans, lentils, etc.).
Your contributions will make a real difference to local families in need.
