Lina Lumme from The Youth Center shared this note:
Our Youth Center bus has been going strong for 8 years—and just in 2025, it’s already taken our kids on 48 life-changing trips.
But… the wrap is cracking, the inside needs a deep clean, and let’s be honest—it’s starting to look (and smell) like 8 years of snacks, sneakers, and adventure. We’ve raised $6,000 of the $9,500 we need to give it a full refresh—and now we’re reaching out to friends like you.

- If you can personally help, or know someone who might, here’s the link
- If you’ve already donated—thank you and please ignore this! We love you and promise not to bug you again.
Thanks for helping us keep this bus—and our mission—rolling.
Warmly (and with a bottle of Febreze),
Lina Lumme,
The Youth Center CEO
So, they have reached 63% of their $9,500 goal toward refreshing the bus that is used year round to transport kids to and from trips, events and camps. If there is any chance you can contribute $10, $40, or $100 to The Youth Center Bus Refresh Project, please do here.
