We’re excited to share that Sharon Landers, Rossmoor’s Interim General Manager, has been named one of the Top Ten Finalists for the 2025 Leadership Trailblazer Award from the League of Women in Government, presented in partnership with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA).

This national honor recognizes women in local government who lead with vision, integrity, and innovation. Sharon’s extensive background — from serving as City Manager of Carson and Assistant City Manager of Irvine, to Interim Executive Officer for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District — reflects her lifelong commitment to effective, ethical, and inclusive public service.

Since joining Rossmoor in 2024, Sharon has focused on strengthening operations, improving transparency, and building collaborative relationships that reflect our community’s values.

Rossmoor is proud to see one of our own represented on the national stage — and we congratulate Sharon on this well-deserved recognition!
