RHA Bylaw Update

Bylaw Update

After a number of discussions and revisions, the RHA Board of Directors unanimously approved some updates to the organizational Bylaws. These changes primarily provide the RHA a way to add non-residents and business supporters to the organization as non-voting members and give the board some flexibility to define additional levels association with the RHA, providing these levels do not change the voting requirements. The proposed changes also allow the RHA Board at its discretion to use electronic ballots in addition to or instead of paper ballots along with some clean up of some ambiguities.

In accordance with our Bylaws, we are providing these proposed changes to the membership at least 20 days prior to our next regular meeting so that the membership can vote on these changes at the April 2021 meeting.

Our current bylaws can be found here.

And the proposed Board approved  changes can be found here.

Any questions can be submitted via our contact page, or brought up at our April meeting.
