At a special board meeting of the Rossmoor Community Services Board of Directors, voted 3-2 (Directors Searles, Shade & Remnet in favor, Demarco & Maynard opposed) to appoint Sharon Landers as the new District General Manager conditioned on ratification of her employment contract at their regular May 13 Board meeting.
Ms. Landers brings over 30 years of experience in state, regional and municipal service on both coasts including half a dozen cities, several regional transportation authorities and two state agencies. She has served as City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and Director of Planning in the cities of Carson, Irvine, and Rancho Cucamonga respectively.
The RHA welcomes this appointment and looks forward to working with Ms. Landers in the months ahead.
