Orange County Board of Supervisors controls or ovKatrina Foley, Supervisor, Orange County District 2ersees most of the important government services for unincorporated Rossmoor, including law enforcement, street maintenance, building permits, drainage channels, mosquito, and other vector control, garbage collection, and much else.

If you have questions about any of these areas or other general county questions, please join us for this virtual town hall, the first that Supervisor Foley is doing for Rossmoor.

Supervisor Foley was elected to the county board in March, after serving as mayor of Costa Mesa. As an unincorporated area, Rossmoor has no mayor or city council, so  Supervisor Foley is the top elected official and the Boar of Supervisors governs Rossmoor.

She says this about herself on her website:

“I consider public transparency one of my top priorities. I plan to prioritize ending homelessness, improving Veterans’ services, and creating workforce development plans to help stabilize families and create a path to the middle class. I also plan to work on improving infrastructure, and prioritizing climate action, protection of our beaches and oceans, and sustainability for our district.”

The Rossmoor Homeowners Association has been in existence since 1957 and has about 1,200 dues-paying households in our community. We watch out for Rossmoor’s quality of life and put on a wide range of events open to the public. If you aren’t a member, please join (click here). The cost is nominal.

Thank you.
