The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to sign up for our November Rossmoor Red Cross Blood Drive.
When the Red Cross says that the simple act of rolling up your sleeve and donating blood saves lives, they are not kidding.
Your blood donation can help save up to 3 people’s lives:
- Cancer patients
- People hurt in an accident
- People needing life-saving surgery
And the list goes on. People just like you and me. People from all walks of life. It takes all of us to help our community stay strong and vibrant. This is just one simple act that you can take part in to help.
Additionally, the need for blood traditionally increases during the holidays. This puts an even higher need for everyone who can donate to do so.
The process is easy. Just sign up for an appointment and show up on Wednesday, November 17th at the Rush Park Auditorium at your appointment time. Then you can be on your way feeling good knowing that you have helped save a life. Maybe even the life of someone you know.
