During the week of December 2-8, 2018, OC Sheriffs responded to a total of 68 incidents, a 24% weekly increase by 13 calls. This week’s incident increases and decreases are as follows:

- Citizen Assistance (+3)
- Disturbances-Family/Music or Party/Mechanical (+1)
- Found Property (+1)
- Fraud (-1)
- ID Theft (-1)
- Illegally Parked Vehicles (+5)
- Illegal Peddling (+1)
- Keep The Peace (-1)
- Patrol Checks (-2)
- Petty Theft Report (-1)
- Property for Destruction (-1)
- Prowler (+1)
- Suspicious Person in Vehicle/Circumstances/Vehicles (+7)
- Traffic Stops (-3)
- Welfare Checks (-2).
For 45 or 66% of this week’s reported incidents, OCSD officers conducted 15 patrol checks and responded to 7 traffic stops (with 4 stops between the hours of 9 PM to 11 PM), 14 suspicious persons/vehicles/circumstances, 8 burglary alarms and 1 bike stop. Citizen assistance was provided for 3 of this week’s incidents. Residents reporting incidents and OCSD officers responding to calls helped deter neighborhood criminal activity.
