What We Do For Rossmoor
As a non-profit volunteer community group whose members choose to pay annual dues to fund the organization, we are in an unique position. since we have no paid staff or a physical office (meaning very low overhead) we are both flexible and virtual. We use our member dues and sponsor funds to put on events like the annual Rossmoor Graduation Parade, help sponsor the CSD’s summer Rossmoor Family Festivals, and Winter Festival for our community. We also welcome the teachers and staff at the four Rossmoor elementary schools back to school each fall. This small token of appreciation of the people who teach and care for our kids each day, means a lot to them and we are so glad to be able to do it.
And the most important thing we do for Rossmoor is we help build and strengthen the Rossmoor Community fiber though our Neighborhood Watch program, annual events and celebrations and communications with Rossmoor residents and the various governmental agencies, districts, and commissions that serve our community.

Side Note: K&B the developers of the project recognized they needed a body that would manage and care for the common properties within the community after the development was completed.Â
The Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) were created to do just that (so K&B could then walk away and not have to manage the ongoing upkeep, etc.).Â
These CC&Rs typically go into place before any properties are sold in the development and create the HOA that manages the services and collects the monthly assessments from the property owners. These CC&Rs along with the monthly assessments are part of the property deed and are required.Â
Isn’t it nice that Our Rossmoor community is free from these kinds of restrictions and rules? It’s just one more reason that Rossmoor is a great place to live!
