We had a very good overview of the new County Public Works website at our RHA Board meeting on Tuesday evening.
A big thank you to Laree Alonso and Judy Kim for walking us through the new My OC eServices website (MyOCeServices.ocgov.com) and showing us the currently available online features like service requests. This mean that you can report a potholes online 24/7 and not have to wait for business hours. In the fall the new portal will allow you to request and pay for permits and track the progress of your permitted projects all from the comfort of your own home, or from your connected mobile device. These zoning changes are presently open for public comment and will be until June 26, 2019. However, because the remaining comment window is so short, the County Staff said they would continue to take comments through the summer. All parts of the proposed zoning code update are available on the County website along with how to leave your comments.
Land Use Manager Joanna Chang discussed that in addition to the existing zoning code updates and changes, the County will be adding a comprehensive sustainability “
