Madison Keck is the Rossmoor Woman’s Club Student Of The Month for May 2025.
From Madison:
My educational journey began at Rossmoor Elementary, where I first learned the importance of being a bucket-filler in a world full of bucket-dippers.
That foundation of kindness, curiosity, and commitment to learning stayed with me as I became an Eagle at McAuliffe Middle School. Although my middle school experience was certainly extraordinary in the midst of a global pandemic, the memories I have and the friendships I made carried on to an exceptional high school experience.
One of the most defining aspects of my high school career has been being a four-year member of our nationally ranked Show Choir program. Choir has been more than just a class or a performance opportunity; it’s become a second family. Through choir, I’ve learned valuable lessons of discipline, teamwork, and the joy of creating music with others. My favorite memory was definitely performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee this past March.
The early mornings, long rehearsals, and unforgettable competitions have taught me so much about commitment and passion for myself and my team.
In addition to choir, I’ve also had the privilege of serving our student body as a two-year ASB member. Being involved in student government has certainly helped me grow as a leader and taught me the value of giving back to our school community.
This year, I also took on the role as the head of our ASB’s social media team, and I’ve had such a wonderful time connecting all the spirit, events, and achievements happening on campus with the entire Los Al community.
Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to share that I will be attending UC Santa Barbara in the fall as a Pre-Communications major. I’m super excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities that lie ahead.
The Los Al Community has truly helped shape who I am today. I’m extremely proud of where I’ve come from, and I’m even more excited for what’s next. Thank you again for this recognition, and thank you to all the teachers, staff, friends, and family who have supported me every step of the way.
Thank You!

Among other things, the club raises money to support local charities and to fund scholarships for LAHS students through two major annual fundraisers: Holiday Home Tour on the first Sunday in December (this year is on Sunday, December 5, 2026) and the spring Rossmoor Garden Tour, which held on the 3rd Sunday in May each year.  Â
