Kempton Park RossmoorKempton Park Redesign

If you’ve driven by Kempton Park (3102 Kempton) recently, you’re seen that things are changing. Much of the existing landscaping has been removed and the ground is being prepared for an exciting new design. Our friends at Back To Natives have designed a native landscape and along with them, the RCSD, RHA, and Eagle Scout candidate Owen Pearce are revitalizing the park.

Funding for this redesign project is coming from the RHA, RCSD, and the funds raised by Owen as part of his Eagle Project.

Back To Natives Designed A Locally Native Landscape For Kempton Park In Rossmoor! Native Plant Workshop

Back To Natives, the primary designers of our Kempton Park native landscape are putting on a free native plant workshop to show us the native plant layout and answer any questions we may have about the design and most importantly, about native plants. This hands on Workshop is for residents of Rossmoor and the surrounding area. Get the flyer for workshop details.

Native vegetation requires less water and maintenance, and no fertilizer or pesticides. Native plants attract butterflies and birds. Join native plant landscape professional Reginald Durant for a day of discussion and hands-on activities – help us plant the park! We promise you’ll learn while having fun.

If you are the least bit interested in knowing more about native plants, take advantage of one of the two workshops being held at Kempton Park on Saturday May 7th. The first workshop starts at 10:00 AM and the second begins at 2:00 PM.

All you have to do is RSVP here. The workshop is free but space is limited. Don’t miss your chance please sign up today!
