One of those is the blood shortage. The national supply is down about 40% and the only way to build it back up is to have more people donate their blood.

This is why we started the Rossmoor Blood Drive back in 2020. To make it easier for more people to donate on a regular basis.
When the Red Cross says that the simple act of rolling up your sleeve and donating blood saves lives, they are not kidding.
Your blood donation can help save up to 3 people’s lives:
- Cancer patients
- People hurt in an accident
- People needing life-saving surgery
And the list goes on. People just like you and me. People from all walks of life. It takes all of us to help our community stay strong and vibrant. This is just one simple act that you can take part in to help.
