Just a Rossmoor reminder that included with your regular waste collection fees, residents can request TWO bulky item pick ups each calendar year. Each of these pickups can contain up to FOUR items.
So there is no need to drag your nasty looking couch or old box springs out behind shop’s dumpster or fill up a neighbor’s construction bin. Just contact CR&R and let them haul your junk away for you. At no additional charge. What could be easier?
Since we are quickly heading into the fourth quarter of the year, there’s still time to schedule your picks for this year. And in January, you can have two more pick ups.
What’s a Bulky Item?
Any item that does not fit in your regular container, like a chair or a couch, are considered “bulky items.” A bulky item is an object that can be handled by a two-person crew and may include:
- Mattress/box springs
Or other large materials. Each residential customer is entitled to two (2) bulky item pick-ups free of charge per calendar year.
When are Bulky Items Picked Up?
Bulky items are picked up on your regular waste collection day.
How Do I Schedule a Pickup?
Please contact CR&R and request a “Bulky Item Pickup”. (hint: you are in North Orange County)
Note: It may take two or three weeks to schedule the pickup. Plan accordingly.
