It has come to our attention that a group of boys are going door-to-door in the Rossmoor area, claiming to be raising money for the Los Alamitos High School Boys Basketball team. However, after verifying with the coach, we have confirmed that what they are soliciting is not an official fundraiser for the team, and none of our teams at LAHS conduct door-to-door fundraising activities. The boys are reportedly asking for on-the-spot cash donations without specifying what they are selling.
If you see these people on your block or they come to your door – PLEASE call the Sheriff’s Department (this number should already be a contact in your phone, but just in case) 714-647-7000 and report them.
