Our Rossmoor - Celebrating 65 Exceptional Years

Events

The RHA sponsors a number of great events throughout the year. While the Rossmoor Graduation Parade is the largest single event, the Christmas Lights Contest and our quarterly (The last Saturday of January, April, July, and October) Shredding events are all important to the Rossmoor community fiber.

  • Rossmoor’s RHA Graduation Parade – At the end of each school year, the RHA puts on the Rossmoor Graduation Celebration Parade. This parade honors our high school graduates as it tours through Rossmoor passing by each of the four elementary schools and both parks along the way. It’s a fun event and the parade route is lined with teachers, homeowners, and the graduates friend and family to cheer their accomplishments.
  • Quarterly Shredding Events – Each quarter on the last Saturday of January, April, July, and October we host a free shredding event at Rush Park. It’s free because our event sponsor helps to offset the costs of the event.
  • Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration – Each year we honor the homes that take the time to create wonderful holiday memories for all to share. The Rossmoor Christmas Lights Celebration is an annual tradition and continues to grow. Which homes and decorations will you remember from this year? Will it be yours?
  • Rossmoor Walk & Talk – The Rossmoor Walk & Talk program was started by the late Bernie Beskind and then carried on by the late Herb Halling to help get Rossmoor moving. Now the group is organized by a group of walkers who want to carry the tradition forward, and of course, improve their health while catching up on what’s going on in the neighborhood. Join us each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Rush Park to walk and talk. As long as it’s not raining, come join in the fun. The event is open to all ages and walking speeds. The more people that walk the better. See you soon.
