Rossmoor Youth Honored at 2025 “A Night Among the Stars”
This year’s A Night Among the Stars (ANATS) was a celebration of service, spirit, and community—shining a well-deserved spotlight on youth volunteers from across the region, including several of Rossmoor’s own rising leaders.
Hosted by The Youth Center and supported by the Los Alamitos, Cypress & Seal Beach Rotary Club, this annual red-carpet event honors young people (ages 5–18) who have gone above and beyond in service to others. Held at the Navy Golf Course, the evening included a community dinner, musical performances, and recognition of 22 youth nominees who were selected by local schools, nonprofits, and civic groups.
Among the youth honored this year were Sydney Mastick and Addison Butler of Rossmoor—both recognized for their leadership, compassion, and commitment to community impact.
Each honoree received a Certificate of Recognition from the U.S. Senate and the Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce. It’s a high honor—and a powerful reminder of what youth can accomplish when given the chance to serve.
Rossmoor Homeowners Association Awards a Local Standout
The RHA was proud to sponsor a $500 scholarship at this year’s event. The Rossmoor Homeowners Association Scholarship was awarded to Era Berani, a young volunteer who has made meaningful contributions through service and leadership.
In total, more than $2,500 in scholarships were awarded this year, made possible by generous support from community partners including the Rossmoor Women’s Club, the Seal Beach Lions’ S.E.T.H. Foundation, and the Rotary Clubs of Los Alamitos and Seal Beach.
Since ANATS began in 2013, over $20,500 in scholarships have been awarded, highlighting the long-standing community investment in youth development and service.

As a long-time supporter of youth programs in our community, the Rossmoor Homeowners Association is proud to be part of this annual tradition. These young people are not just the future—they are already shaping the present with their compassion and dedication.
