The 2024 Presidential Elections are coming up and we are working to get you the candidate information that you need to make your decisions as to which of the candidates for the four local offices representing Rossmoor are the best choice for you and your interests.
Here’s an interactive map that uses an address to look up each district/area provided by the County of Orange. This map includes each of your representatives from the President of the United States through our local school district and our Rossmoor-specific, Rossmoor Community Services District (RCSD).
For your convenience, we have also linked the specific district map for each office listed below.
Now that you know which districts represent you, it’s time to find out about the candidates. Here’s our plan for the 2024 election:
- We held our Meet Your Candidates Forum on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Rush Auditorium.Â
- We requested written responses to the questions you and the community submitted. Responses are posted on the candidate’s profile page link below when submitted.
Â
You can watch the full unedited version of the Forum at the bottom of this page. If you’d rather look at the segments of the Forum broken down by office, you can do that below by clicking on the candidate names.
We invited each of the 10 candidates for the following area-specific elections (click the candidate’s name for their question responses & profile, when available):
Congressional District 45 (map)
- Michelle Steel (not response to written questions, in DC on the Forum date)
- Derek Tran
Assembly District 70 (map)
1st Supervisorial District (map)
- Francis Marquez
- Janet Nguyen (no response to questions or Forum invite)
RCSD Board candidates (map, 3 seats):
