Nia Hartman and Bike Rossmoor guided the 7th Annual Rossmoor Lights Bike Tour on Friday & Saturday nights, and both rides were popular. Friday night had more than 60 riders tour the neighborhood lights as the threat of rain did not materialize. Saturday night was nearly tripled the count with over 175 riders and 40+ skaters joining in the tour. There was time for photos with Santa for kids and parent alike. Shown here with Santa are Bike Rossmoor organizer and RHA Director Nia Hartman and RHA Director Jody Roubanis. The weather was perfect for the ride and the lights are amazing.. On the tour, neighbors waived from their yards and the sounds of “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Holidays” could be heard blocks away. Cars on the road were kind and waited for the tour to pass them. Groups of riders stopped at homes to enjoy the the lights while other riders continued on. The tour took about 90 minutes at a very leisurely pace. The eight-mile all-Rossmoor tour is a lot of fun and you can get your copy of the Bike Lights Map here if you want to tour the lights on your own while they are still glowing.
